Contemporary Italian artist
Contemporary Italian artist. In his artistic career Luca Leonelli has experimented with diverse means of expression, trying his hand at the creation of different artistic products but always acclaimed by contemporary critics: traditional techniques involving the use of brushes, pencils, nibs and sharp steel tips used to create linen canvases or wooden tablets coloured with oils or coloured waters on different types of paper for example. Leonelli is a contemporary Italian painter who has succeeded in achieving a leading role thanks to the deep understanding of his artistic vein by critics like Daverio, Negri, Schwarz, Celli and to his various oil-paintings, watercolours, engravings and drawings. A contemporary painter who has shown his talent in exhibition spaces such as the Mudima Foundation for Contemporary art in Milan, or the J. Barozzi Gallery in Vignola (MO), the Cà Foundation in Ghironda Zola Predosa BO, but also in Mantova, Berlin and Yugoslavia, Luca Leonelli has for a long time now held a well-deserved position in the forefront of contemporary Italian painting.
